ITMO Haypark is a scientific, educational and production complex that will be built on the territory of the Pushkin district in St. Petersburg. This is an ambitious project of the University ITMO — the leading university in Russia in the field of information and photon technology.

Scientific developments of the University have long been in demand in Russia and abroad. ITMO has been engaged in scientific and technological research and applied developments for many years, working closely with business. The creation of a site for the development of promising projects is a logical development of this direction. The synergy of education, science and business, which we embodied in the positioning “The Ecosystem of Talents, the Quality of Life and Capital in Russia,” became the basis of the “Hyper Park” concept. Developing the name of the project, we considered a different range of solutions – from toponymic, referring to the historical past of the site, to bold futuristic neologisms. We stopped at the title, which reveals the idea of the development of high technology and higher education. It also echoes the characteristics of the location – “Haypark” will be located on a hill above St. Petersburg. The logo focuses on the iconic semantic roots – ITMO High Park, at the mnemonic level ensuring the interrelation of the brand of the cluster with the meaning of its activity. Logos of directions (ITMO Hight Park, Quantum – protected communication systems on quantum principles, ITMO Hight Park, Robot – robotics and others) are completed to the main one and coded in color.

The ITMO Hyparark brand forms the image of an innovative high-tech center of international level. Attractive for future residents and investors. Realization of the project will allow developing partnership with large investment companies, Russian and international scientific centers, and leading world universities.

The project “ITMO Haypark” has already been included in the list of priority innovative clusters of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. October 17, 2017 Dmitry Medvedev announced the start of construction, on the government’s website there was an appropriate order.
